This set of Altvia release notes covers January–June 2026 month by month. These notes highlight the features and capabilities that matter to you — we’ve left out fixes and changes that don’t affect your day-to-day.
January 2026 Release Notes
Smarter Events, Faster Templates, and a Smoother Start for New Investors
The year kicks off with a new way to manage firm events right inside the CRM, a template builder that speeds up how you build Mailings, a generally available NDA workflow, and a friendlier first-time experience for investors signing up to the Portal.
CRM: Bring Events Into the Fold
Track Events Without Leaving Your CRM
Function and Function Attendee objects are now packaged directly into AIM, giving you a native way to track firm events, invitations, attendance status, and sessions. Rather than managing event lists in a spreadsheet or a separate tool, you can now connect fundraising and investor-relations events directly to the LP and contact records you already work in every day.
Document Distribution: Build Richer Emails, Faster
Tables Are Here in the Mailings Template Editor
You can now insert formatted tables directly into your Mailings templates, no custom HTML required. Whether you’re laying out a fund performance summary or a simple agenda, tables make dense information easier for investors to scan.
LP VDR/Portal: A Better First Impression
NDA Agreement Type Now Available to Every Client
The purpose-built NDA agreement type is now available to everyone.
A Smoother Path for Self-Registering Investors
We improved the confirmation flow for investors who self-register for the Portal, with clearer guidance and recovery paths for anyone who hasn’t yet confirmed their email or is missing a workspace subdomain. Fewer stuck sign-ups means your investors get into the Portal faster.
February 2026 Release Notes
Faster Refreshes, Cleaner Syncs, and Full Visibility Into Folder Access
This month is about trust and speed: a quicker way to refresh your Investor Contact Manager, cleaner email syncing with fewer duplicate records, visible progress on large downloads, and a self-serve way to see exactly who can access what in the Portal.
CRM: A Quicker Refresh
Investor Contact Manager Gets a One-Click Refresh
You can now refresh the currently filtered view in Investor Contact Manager without reloading the whole browser page. It’s a small change that saves real time for anyone managing correspondence preferences across a large LP base.
Email Sync: Fewer Duplicates
Smarter Duplicate Prevention
New sync ID fields reduce duplicate record creation when the same email is captured by more than one synced inbox, keeping your CRM cleaner as more of your team connects their email.
LP VDR/Portal: Clarity and Control
Large File Downloads Now Show Their Progress
Downloading a large file — think a multi-gigabyte video or dataset — now shows a visible progress indicator, along with underlying reliability improvements, so investors and admins know a download is working rather than wondering if it stalled.
See Exactly Who Has Access to What
For clients who have Folders enabled, the new self-serve Folder Access report shows which users and groups have access to which folders, including access inherited from parent folders. Admins can now audit permissions on their own, without opening a support ticket.
March 2026 Release Notes
More Control Over Email Sync and Fewer Surprises for Portal Admins
This month is all about giving your team more say in how things work: choose exactly which emails sync into your CRM, see every sync job in one place, and get a heads-up before a workspace expires instead of finding out after the fact.
Email Sync: You’re in Control
Choose What Syncs — Received, Sent, or Both
You can now choose whether Email Sync captures received emails, sent emails, or both, rather than syncing everything by default.
A Full View of Every Sync Job
A new admin dashboard shows every email ingestion job across every connected user, with filtering by user, provider, and status — giving admins one place to spot problems before users notice them.
Sync From a Specific Gmail Label
Gmail users can now restrict Email Sync to a specific label instead of the full inbox, giving you more precise control over what makes it into the CRM.
LP VDR/Portal: No More Surprises
Workspace Expiration Alerts, Sent Directly to Admins
Admins now receive an email alert as their workspace approaches its expiration date, instead of discovering it only once access is affected.
April 2026 Release Notes
Email Sync Grows Up, and Mailings Gets Built for Scale
April brings some of the biggest Email Sync improvements yet — attachments, resiliency, and a health bar that tells you what’s really happening — alongside performance upgrades that let Mailings handle your largest recipient lists without breaking a sweat.
Email Sync: Built to Handle More
Pick Exactly Which Folder or Label Syncs
Outlook users can now choose exactly which folder syncs into the CRM, rather than defaulting to Inbox and Sent Items — giving Outlook the same precision Gmail users already have with label selection.
Attachments Now Sync Too
Email attachments (up to 36MB per file) can now sync into the CRM alongside the email itself, linked to the Interaction and Interaction Message records they belong to. Toggle on “Include Email Attachments in CRM Sync”.
A Health Bar for Your Connection
A new health bar shows your connection status, sync success rate, last successful sync, and total records created — so you always know your sync is working as expected.
Smarter Matching, Fewer Duplicate Accounts
Enhanced matching logic — checking email domain, existing contacts, and account name before creating anything new — means fewer duplicate Accounts cluttering your CRM.
Interaction Notes, Written for You
The Interaction Notes field now auto-populates with the most recent synced email body, so you can scan what was discussed without opening the original message.
Document Distribution: Ready for Scale
Large Recipient Lists, No More Slowdowns
Recipient list uploads of 30,000 or more contacts no longer slow down or freeze the browser, so your largest sends are as smooth as your smallest.
LP VDR/Portal: A Name That Fits
“Answers” Is Now “Analytics”
We’ve renamed “Answers” to “Analytics” everywhere it appears in the Portal, for a clearer, more consistent name across the platform.
May 2026 Release Notes
A Richer Picture of Every Investor, Automatically
May’s updates are about letting the CRM do more of the remembering for you — new fields that profile investors and track follow-ups, automation that keeps key records current on their own, and a bulk action that makes event planning faster.
CRM: Let the CRM Remember For You
Categorize Entities at a Glance
A new Entity Type field lets you categorize each entity by its legal or structural vehicle, making it easier to filter and report across your fund structures.
Track What a Typical Investor Writes
The new Check Size field captures an investor’s typical commitment amount, giving your team a quick reference point for profiling and segmentation.
Never Lose Track of a Follow-Up
Standardized Interaction follow-up fields — Next Steps, Next Steps Date, and Next Steps Completed — keep every commitment to follow up visible and accountable, right on the Interaction record.
The Latest Capital Account Statement, Automatically
The Most Recent Capital Account Statement now auto-populates on the Investor record, so you always see current balance information without digging through historical statements.
Interaction Counts, Tallied For You
The number of Interaction Messages tied to a record now rolls up automatically, giving you a quick read on how active a relationship has been.
Add Contacts to a Function in Bulk
You can now select multiple contacts from a list view and add them to a new or existing function in one action, with a status applied to all of them at once — making event planning considerably faster.
Email Sync: See the Bigger Picture
A Tenant-Wide View of Email Sync
A new Admin Summary View gives administrators tenant-level statistics — job totals, sync success rate, and records created — across every user, all in one place.
June 2026 Release Notes
Deeper Deal Intelligence for Private Equity Teams
We close out the first half of the year with new fields built specifically for private equity deal tracking — capturing the details that matter most when you’re sourcing, structuring, and reporting on deals.
CRM: Know Your Deals Better
Track Series, Structure, and Timing in One Place
New Deal fields let you capture the funding series, whether a deal is a new platform investment or an add-on to an existing platform, and the date a deal is scheduled for Investment Committee review — all standardized, so your team tracks deals the same way every time.
Baseline Financials for Operating Companies
New fields let you record baseline Revenue and EBIT/EBITDA for your operating companies, giving you a consistent starting point to measure performance against over time.
Connect Entities to the Accounts Behind Them
A new Related Account field on Entity supports use cases like fund administrators, placement agents, and co-investors — making it easier to see who’s connected to which entity.
