How to Update a ShareSecure End User’s Email Address

As an admin in ShareSecure, you can update end user’s email addresses who are not global users. Below are the steps on how to update an end user’s email address in ShareSecure.

  1. In ShareSecure, navigate to the ‘Users’ tab and search for the user you need to update.
  2. Click on the user and select the ‘edit’ button in the top right.

  1. Enter the new email address into the “Email” field and click Save.

Global User Consideration:

If the Email field is not displayed once you click edit, and there is only an “Edit Access Expiration Date” link, the user is likely in multiple portals making them a global user.
