Are you having issues seeing VDR/Portal data for your investors within the CRM? If you have already created the end user in your VDR/Portal, the end user may not be linked to the CRM contact record. Best practice calls for you to connect your VDR/Portal users to the CRM by taking the necessary steps below to achieve this:
- Go to the contact record in the CRM and click on the ‘VDR/Portal’ tab to view the data in the VDR/Portal widget. You will notice the ‘Last Sign In:’ field will show “Never” meaning the connection has not been established yet.
- Once you confirm that the emails match on the CRM contact record and the end user in your VDR/Portal, click on the link ‘Invite User to VDR/Portal’ on the CRM contact record.

- You will be taken to a new page in the VDR/Portal where you can link the contact.

- Now if you view the contact record back in the CRM, you will see that a last login date is populated and you will notice that you can view the end user’s VDR/Portal activities and document statuses right from this VDR/Portal widget.
